Kimonos are great layering pieces for fall! They are lightweight for warm, fall days but still give you a layered look. I love all of the mustard, green, and burgundy shades currently available in kimonos.
My kimono was purchased through a boutique and is no longer available. I searched high and low for it, but was unable to find it for sale anywhere else. Below I have featured several kimonos that will give you a similar look. I styled my kimono with white skinny jeans, a green tank, and neutral booties. For accessories, I added a simple gold pendant and leather earrings.
TIPS FOR STYLING KIMONOS
- Since kimonos are patterned and colorful, I recommend keeping the rest of your outfit and accessories simple and solid in color.
- Be sure your kimono isn’t too oversized or voluminous for your body type, especially if you are petite. (You may need to size down.)
- Kimonos look best when paired with slim-fitting or skinny bottoms.
- Pair kimonos with form-fitting tanks or tees.

Just love your kimono, it is perfect for the fall! I love wearing all white or black under my kimonos and it makes getting dressed so easy! I do agree that skinny or jeggings are best with them!
